Angie’s work:
THE TOXICITY OF THE BLACK MAN WITHIN THE BLACK POWER MOVEMENT

Instagram: @missdizzy9

My name is Angie Matondo, I am an 18 years old black french high school student (I turn 19 on the 21st). I am heavily interested in participating in your project, as Radical and Intersectional Feminism have been huge interests of mine. I am also very thankful of you for taking this initiative which will help spread awareness about so many social issues which are not talked about enough. I am open to submit my writings. I have a pretty good level of english, but I apologize in advance for any mistakes, and if my submission is taken into consideration, feel free to edit those! I wrote my article about toxic masculinity within the black power movement. I apologize as it is not as fleshed out as I wish it could be, but I only learned about your journal recently and wanted to have a chance to be a part of your first issue, so I couldn't deep dive into the subject as much as I would have with more time, so it is pretty surface level. Nonetheless, I hope you will like it. I would like to write more about up to date events in the future, but this particular subject had been something I wanted to write about recently. I am only a student, but I believe the experience of sharing my work with you can only be beneficial for me to improve and learn more.
