Jhanvi is currently studying at UNSW for Media (Journalism and Communications). Raised in Australia as an Indian woman, she aims to integrate intersectional Feminism within her pieces and emphasises the importance of community and decolonisation. She believes that the mere existence of an individual is political, hence intrinsic to the human condition. However, critical understanding and dissection of politics are necessary skill sets that need to be sharpened. Thus, she aims to nurture these skills as President of Media Society at UNSW and through undertaking other leadership positions within the Media Program.
